Three UK has declared it is going to offer the country’s fastest 5G once it starts in 25 cities later this season.
Despite being the UK’s smallest operator by subscribers, Three has achieved significant landmarks. The company has been the first to launch a 3G system and continues to concentrate on its information offerings.
Dave Dyson, CEO in Three, stated:”It is apparent that consumers and companies need an increasing number of data. We’ve got the UK’s best network for information and we’ve led the marketplace on client use on both 3G and 4G technology. We’ve worked hard over an extended period of time to have the ability to supply the most effective end-to-end 5G experience”
Three scooped up 140MHz of 5G spectrum that it claims provides peak speeds up to twice as quickly as any rival system at launching. Together with 50MHz of spectrum, Vodafone is Three’s nearest competition.
International 5G criteria body the ITU says’authentic’ 5G needs 100MHz of 5G spectrum that places Three in a fantastic advertising place to say it is the sole UK carrier providing the complete experience.
“5G is a game changer for 3, and naturally I’m excited that we’ll be the sole operator in the united kingdom who will provide authentic 5G,” remarks Dyson.
Three strategies to launch 25 cities before the end of 2019: London, Birmingham, Bolton, Bradford, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Reading, Rotherham, Sheffield, Slough, Sunderland, and Wolverhampton.
